HARDCORE HENRY

I just came from seeing HARDCORE HENRY! The new high paced first person action flick puts you up close and violently personal as you watch through the perspective of Henry a voiceless modern day Frankenstein's monster crossed supped-up with cybernetic limbs and super reflexes. With a little help from a mysterious scientist Jimmy, played by Sharlto Copley, Henry runs, jumps, punches, kicks and shoots his way through the city trying to escape from an army of shadowy hitmen on a quest to save your kidnapped wife. 

The movie melds dark comedy with the highest octane action and most extreme violence you've ever seen to create a movie experience like no other. Kinda like a mixture of a first person shooter video game the Jason Statham movie Crank or a twisted rated R version one of those first person Universal Studios rides turned up to 11. This movie is a hard core action packed brutal gut punching riot of unimaginable proportions. I howled laughing one second and the next I was shouting out a grimacing "WOW!" at the screen. This is one movie that's definitely worth checking out in a theater(though you might want to sit in the back or to one side of the theater to avoid the shaky cam motion sickness) and if DBOX is available in your town, I'd strongly suggest you look into it because it makes it way more like the roller coaster ride it's already set up to be. Hardcore Henry racks up a strictly-for-entertainment-purposes 4... out of 5.
