THE LAST STAND! Well, it happens to everybody I suppose. Even the great Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't immune to getting old. This movie has the former Mr. Universe and now current Father Time, Arnold Schwarzenegger teaming up with actors from the island of misfit toys including Luis Guzman and Johnny Knoxville to take on another cadre of MIA actors headed by Peter Stormare. The movie is flimsy on the jokes and weak in its acting on pretty much all fronts and the action is only so-so. The only thing that kept me engaged was Arnold even though its clear that he's waaaaaaaay past his prime and not really a good fit for this movie. The violence is toned way down from other Arnold flicks and although there is actually blood and a decent amount of gunplay, its shoddily filmed and it comes across as being pretty hollow. I'm sad that this movie wasn't as good as I had hoped but eh, what are ya gonna do? The Last Stand gets a 2...out of 5
